A Pet’s Covid Dilemma

A PET’S COVID DILEMMA….

I am a pet next door,
Who looked for people to pat me more,
Out from home I got a lot of attention,
Always made most of that situation,
Goofiness was my trait,
And everyone fall for that bait,
How wonderful were those days,
There were smiles on everyone’s face,
Suddenly everything changed,
What led Humans to stay as if caged?
Every day when my human take me out for the task,
Why he always have to wear a mask?
From what I could hear,
They have a disease to fear,
When we walked people won’t come near,
My walk became more easier,
As for few days the roads were clear,
It was only me and my human on my rear,
At home all my family were there,
Glad to have their love and care,
But still I could sense the tension in the air,
When my neighbours didn’t place their hands on my hair,
I could feel how much they love to pat,
But stayed away and refused to act,
No more cuddles and sweet talk,
They just said Hi and took a walk,
I looked up and saw some in their balcony,
When our eyes met I could feel the melancholy,
For long time Humans stayed at home,
Then one day they went back to their old form,
Now things looked like getting back to normal,
But with masks my neighbours were still too formal,
When will this separation end?
All I wish is to be my neighbours’ friend…

  • Norfolk Spring Tides September 2, 2026
The Norfolk Spring tides are the biggest and best tides for witnessing the thousands of birds feeding on the mudflats, being pushed closer to shore. During this event most if not all of the estuary is consumed by the sea and submerged underwater. Out on the mud and sand flats you’ll see thousands of wading […]

The heaths and moors of the Peak District are an eerie exposure of peat covered moorland sitting about 600m above sea level. Large wind carved eroded rocks sit among vast plateaus and rock formations supporting a healthy population of wild Red Deer. Red Deer are the largest land mammal in the UK, easily recognised by […]

  • Use Light Creatively July 18, 2026
Sit in the same position for an hour and you’ll see just how quickly light changes. The direction of light will dramatically affect the way shadows fall in a scene within nature or on a subject. The word “Photography” comes from Greek word meaning to write or draw with light. Lighting can transform an image, adding […]

  • Ethics Matter July 18, 2026
When photographing wildlife I am trying to document wild behaviour, something that occurred naturally. I am not trying to create something that was fake and contrived. You can’t get privileged views of wildlife and their behaviour unless you are either unnoticed or ignored. Make the subject completely at ease should be your aim, they shouldn’t […]

My images represent an event that occurred in the wild something that I witnessed and recorded with my camera. My skill lies in interpreting and presenting this in a way that invokes beauty, mood and emotion with each moment captured. Showing the beauty of the natural world and how it can heal and add such […]

Connecting people with nature that is what I do. It means nothing to me what awards you have won, how many followers or likes you have. How you treat nature tells me all I need to know about you. As a photographer I try to inspire people by showing them things they may never get […]

Working on your own projects is a great way of learning more about your chosen subject, while becoming a better wildlife photographer I firmly believe. Learning how the light changes at different times of day, when wildlife is most active and much more through time spent in the field. You will also learn so much about […]
