Last year has been productive in intrinsic manner. While facing fresh challenges I have learnt to adapt to given circumstances. Even as conflicts were raging around the world giving news of despair and creating anxiety for the audience, there always has been refuge provide by nature to many.

Observing nature in the small corner nearby me have always taught me to continue my pursuits even when the results are sometimes not as prompt as the attempts made.

As usual Science Next Door  always gave me the opportunity to share my thoughts on nature continuously for the fourth year. What started in April 2021 with a poem on butterflies has now grown to reach 137 so far.  Will I be able to contribute 150 poems in this website?

Here are some of the poems published in Science Next Door last year…

A Seedling’s Toil- Tale of the Soil

Wetlands’ Habitual Posers: The Cormorants’ Disclosures

Duress to Zoochosis- A Lonely Wolf’s Crisis

Sole Goal Of A Fish In The Bowl

Nature’s Colour Galore: Indian Pitta’s Lore

From Oceans to Nations: Mind’s Wavering Contentions

Mosses and Notions of Coexistence

Predators vs. Prey in Real and Virtual Space…

Experience Of Rat Snakes’ ‘Combat Dance’

 A Rainbow View to Pursue…

An Inspiration for All: Dr. Jane Goodall

Note What Small Beings Taught

Presence and Essence of Citizen Science

Thank you, 360 Research Foundation, for allowing me during the Earth Day to share my thoughts on facilitating nature appreciation. I was able to narrate my tales of curiosity, biodiversity and sustainability.

Prompts related to Rebirth, Patience and Strength shared by Inkspire magazine inspired me to write my nature related experiences that gave me the lessons related to each topic respectively

Thoughts about Living with Birds written by Asad Rehmani Sir through poetry

Honoured to be recognised as Nominee for Environment Education People of Nature Awards by Wenaturalist

Sharing the inspiring tale of Dr. Jane Goodall, I hope her life will motivate many nature lovers to be part of loving, observing, caring and protecting nature around them in their own way.

This year I added another Medium for sharing my writings with readers

I am sharing a thought on Asiatic Lions and their biodiverse habitat

A day in the life of a Leafcutter Bee and a Lizard, a glimpse of urban biodiversity

Humans and pigeons have a complicated relationship.  Sharing space with each other has been a consistent conundrum for many. Dropping a few thoughts on those who daily deal with pigeons especially in the urban landscape.

Describing a collateral coexistence around us, hope you would also observe some in your area too.

Like the rainbows are actually nothing but water droplets placed in perfect spot to let the light refract and reflect according to simple logic. Yet it is perceived as beautiful sight by an onlooker who is exactly on the right spot to observe how the alchemy of light and water along with elements of nature. Hope to see and share more magic of nature this year. The journey of nature enthusiast continues…Thank you 2025 and Welcome 2026…
