Found it surround by a group of chirpy kids, as I guess it fell down from the building after getting hit by a cricket ball. Lying down convulsing with froth coming out of the mouth, I was not sure whether I will survive. Luckily no signs of blood, which means might be it was in a shock. Then I turned it around and rubbed slowly over its head and neck, slowly it started showing signs of conscious movement. I took it to home and kept it in a cage, it was not moving, lying on its tummy below the water bowl. In the evening suddenly it started raining and the whole cage got wet. Kept a lot of newspaper in the cage so that it absorbs the water from its body. By next day morning, it was showing signs of recovery, completely dried out and started moving around the cage and making attempts to get free. So finally, I left it near a tree and it slowly climbed up and vanishes among the thick foliage.

I am so touched as I felt the oain for months and years. Two of my favourite wild elephants, as I would often see them walking and enjoying rhe fruits of the jack fruit tree a and other, got electrocuted by an hanging wire in a near some near by place to ours, I was devasted as just the day before I had seem them enjoy a Sunday walk, I use to wait to see them, to let them eat their heart out, stay for as long, couldn’t be more strict with all around to ensure all let’s them be in peace. Some say some did purposely, can’t really say as they did do up to their grain fields too, all I can say is, this is no way they deserve to be when we humans be so selfish to only eat ourselves and think nothing for them at all.
I pray to see a day when all get good food to eat, we plant for them, and they like us live a healthy wealthy prosperous life
Thank you very much, hope the elephants too have their share of food from the jungles. let’s hope people will understand the importance of these animals
Wow what a fantastic read!
Thank you very much
